While we do have locations across the nation, our corporate headquarters is located near beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Prime Example

Eric Wickstrom, one of JK Harris’ Enrolled Agents and a supervisor is a prime example of the
advancement opportunities you may find at our company. Eric came to JK Harris after 15 years in the
hotel business and several years in commercial real estate. Eric came to JK Harris looking for job stability
and found a career. After starting out as a Case Specialist, assisting clients in the tax resolution process,
Eric was a lead case specialist less than a year later. Six months after that, he was a supervisor. In the
meantime, Eric took advantage of the in-house Enrolled Agent training program, and got his Enrolled
Agent card less than two years after getting hired on. Today, Eric supervises a team of sixteen tax analysts
who focus on providing the best in customer service. What started out for Eric as a stable job with regular
hours, became a promising career where he continues to excel.

If you are looking for a company with heart, a company where employees’ compassion and generosity abounds, look closely at JK Harris. Our employees have stepped up to help those in need time and time again. When a fellow employee needed a new, specially modified van that he could drive from his wheelchair, JK Harris employees generously raised more than $50,000 to help him purchase the van. In times of crisis, JK Harris employees have committed to helping those in need. Our employees donated over $30,000 to the victims of Hurricanes Rita and Katrina and $14,000 to the families of the firefighters killed in the Sofa Super Store fire in June 2007. There are many more stories like these throughout all areas of the company. Our employees, besides representing clients daily with their tax problems, come to the aid of those who need their assistance.
